Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Curpost (“Curpost,” “we,” “us”) operates an email-based service that alerts recruiters to newly posted job openings. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: matt@curpost.com.
Information we collect
- Your email address. It’s how you interact with Curpost and how we deliver your alerts — your email address is your account.
- The content of emails you send us. When you email a hiring niche or reply to tune an alert, we store that text to build and refine your job feed.
- Alert and usage data. The alert criteria we derive from your messages, delivery records (what we sent and when), and basic operational logs.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, which collects and stores your card details. We never see or store your full card number — only your subscription status.
We do not collect information about the candidates you recruit, and we don’t ask you to send us any.
Where job data comes from
Curpost aggregates job postings that companies publish on their own public hiring systems (applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, and Gem). This is publicly available listing data about open roles, not personal data about individuals.
How we use your information
- To build, run, and refine your job alerts.
- To deliver alert digests and service messages to your email.
- To process your subscription and payments.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run Curpost, and share only what each needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services — email delivery and data storage.
- Anthropic — we use Claude (an AI model) to interpret the criteria you send and help compose your digests, so the text of those emails is processed by Anthropic for that purpose.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can stop your alerts at any time by replying STOP or unsubscribe to any digest, or by emailing matt@curpost.com. On request we’ll delete your account data, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe anytime — reply STOP/unsubscribe, or use the List-Unsubscribe option in any digest.
- Access or delete your data — email us and we’ll respond.
- We don’t sell personal information, and we honor “Do Not Track”-style choices by simply not tracking you across other sites.
If you’re a California resident, you may exercise the access and deletion choices above by emailing us.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and email in particular is not a secure channel — please don’t send us sensitive personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, note it in a digest.
